Hello!
I'm Valerie, and I wanted to share with you my experiences in the hospital while I go through chemotherapy. I was recently diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) on August 13, 2010, and have to spend a little over six months in the hospital! I'm able to go home for a couple days after each monthly cycle of chemotherapy, which is such a teaser cause it makes me feel "normal" again, but I enjoy my time out to breathe fresh air again.
